Dr. Steve Windels
aka The Beaver Doctor
Dr. Steve Windels is an award-winning wildlife biologist who has spent his career studying beavers, wolves, moose, and their ecosystems — and now brings that scientific perspective to the comedy stage. Combining real field experience with sharp observational humor, he’s proof that even having a PhD doesn’t stop you from attention-seeking behaviors.
Nate Hood
Nate Hood is a Saint Paul dad, husband, and stand-up comedian. A finalist in House of Comedy’s Funniest Person with a Day Job in 2026, he’s also a former Acme semifinalist and producer of the St. Paul Comedy All-Star Show. He’s not a real doctor but he is a big fan of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Outside of comedy, Nate serves as a local planning commissioner, which means you can blame him for whatever happened to your neighborhood.
